In this wedding, we did all the flower arrangements ourselves as well as supplying the gold chargers and candle holders. The wedding was a little last minute as far as weddings go, but what else do you do with two young lovers? With 4 weeks to plan and execute such a feat the wedding was small and intimate with a splash of color to keep things lively. In place of the usual seating cards we opted for individual chocolate boxes, tied with the brides choice of ribbon and hand written labels to guide the guest to their tables. The wedding for 80 guests was held at the Olivia on the Hill in St. Louis. Which gives you a great blank slate to start with, but know ahead of time that you have to fill in those blanks. We choose a lot of flowers and some of our own treasures. Thankfully, being collectors of unique things we were able to fill the large space with rustic brightly colored sap buckets and antique baskets.
I was a single mom with one little girl up until last year when I met a man from Texas. He swept me off my feet and I suddenly found myself married with two adorable little girls. I now spend my days trying to juggle a baby, a four year old and a husband who thinks I'm slightly crazy.
